Harriet was trained as a concert pianist at the Royal Academy of Music in London, in Florence and Lausanne. After several years of touring as a soloist and chamber musician she began to compose work to include in her programmes.

It was performed in the summer of 2006 in USA and filmed for television broadcast.

A number of her works have been performed in Kuwait, in partnership with BAIA director, Alison Shan Price, including: The Dream Dealer, The Little Prince and Othello. She has also been a pillar of the AMG Orchestra for The Pirates of Penzance, West Side Story and The Mikado.

In her spare time she designs silk apparel for her company Agapanthus, in order to fund her summer theatre programme in England.
